How To: Apply Gecko Guard on iTouch
Posted on | September 20, 2009 | No Comments
I was helping Jas to apply her screen protector on her iTouch 2G, then I realised the fitting instruction for the Gecko guard is missing. Searching high and low online in vain.
So here’s my quick guide:
- Clean the screen to remove any speck of dust on the surface.
- Use screen cleaning solution as well as scotch tape to remove any dust. - On the Gecko Guard, there is 2 tabs, remove Tab A plastic sheet.
- Align the protector (Tab B facing you) with your device, use the applicator card to stick the protector to the iTouch screen, do not apply the protector fully, so that it is easy to resolve problem.
- If there are any air bubbles, it means that the iTouch screen has dust particles.
- Remove the protector and clean the iTouch screen again.
- Repeat the above process until there are no air bubbles. - After successful application, remove Tab B.
And you are done!!! Congrats!
