Mid Autumn Festival @ Chinatown

Since no more Hello Kitty at Chinese Garden like last year, Jas and I decided to drop by Chinatown to immense into the Mid Autumn Festival Atmosphere. The event “Mass Lantern Walk and Celebration” starts at 7.30pm. When we alighted at around 6.45pm, it started to drizzle. The field outside of Outram MRT is packed with people though, collecting their lanterns.
Since everywhere is crowded, we decided to station ourselves up at the bridge to see the parade. Luckily, the rain stops just before the commencement of the event. The flag bearers together with the dragon and lion dance parties lead the way. The crowd of lantern carriers come next. The road is super packed with people participating the Lantern Walk to The Central.
