Road Blind at night

Departed from home to attend my friend’s wedding at Grand Corpthorne Waterfront Hotel at 1930hrs. Based on the estimated time and distance provided by gothere.sg, it should take around 20 minutes.
I thought I will be early as I started driving at 1855hrs. I was totally wrong; stucked in traffic jam and lost. For the start, I was moving like snail as high volume of vehicles trying to squeeze their way through the merging lanes into CTE. After managing to crawl out of the jam, I got lost in Orchard. I still can’t believe this is happening, the road structure in orchard seriously need improvement. I missed 2 turns in Orchard taking me another 10mins to get back into route. The make matters worst, I missed the hotel entrance, taking me down towards Tiong Bahru road, nearly fainted! In the end, luckily, I managed to figure out my way back from a foreign estate, reached the hotel around 1945hrs.
What a day! Maybe I should get a GPS.
