Subtle Senses Customer Service
Posted on | June 24, 2010 | 8 Comments
After True Spa being bought over by Subtle Senses, I am super pissed off by the way they handle their customers. This irritation is amplified by the recent Wax In the City incident when the company changes hand, resulting in the closure of the outlets. I thought it will be the same for True Spa.
I have tried countless times to get a hold on Cuppage staff, however, no one pick up my calls. I am seriously annoyed by the service rendered. In the beginning, the customer relationship officer persuaded me to buy the package, giving my so many promises. In the end, this is the way the customer is being treated. I have being thinking, even a three year old kid knows how to coax his parents to get what he wants. How can a business anger customers survive?
My agony comes with a bunch of incompetent staff, telling me false information that they do not operate on Sunday, jotting my appointment down on a booklet in pencil!!! How unprofessional can they be? The joke of the day is in the Welcome Letter by Subtle Senses, scroll to the bottom, to my surprise, Subtle Senses has achieved different Singapore excellence awards… It simply makes me wonder the creditability of the awards.
Today, I tried to call them again. Wow! They did pick up the call. However, the service still cannot make it. The CSO keeps putting me on hold and direct me to another CSO, and there I am repeating the same set of information again. I am not surprised at all when the CSO told me that they do not have my booking record. Isn’t it typical? My gut feeling at that time has being answered! Luckily, I give them a call, otherwise it will be a wasted trip.
Seriously, I really cannot believe a company holding so many Singapore Excellence Awards has poor customer service, takes appointment using pencil and paper. Probably, this is why I no longer trust these awards…

I have the same super bad experience at True Spa and wonder why nobody has called the Newpaper to complain yet.

Hey Mark, thanks for sharing. Just to say that things might not look so rosy after all, despite the transition. I had difficulty booking, and now wonder if I should add on the list to CASE:

You are so right. I tried making an appointment and no-one picks up. And when one finally did, I was told I have to call the other branch which was closed for 3-days training…and that I cannot book through them. What’s the point of having branches that are not linked? Sigh. What to do, I’ve paid, just have to bite the bullet and complete the package.
Interestingly, I did abit of research and there’s really a lot of complaints against Subtle Senses eversince True Spa took over.
I think my lesson learnt is not to buy long term packages.

HI Everyone, I’ve filed my case with SCT recently. Their sub-standard service is intolerable. Tried calling since yesterday to book for Oct appt but the line was either busy or unanswerable.
I’m appealing to you to share your experience regarding TS/SS and hope that you can be my list of witness to bring TS to justine.
